haiyo i took the recipe from another web right and added the radish water, in the end it was like glue lo ... got to throw away the whole thing, wat a waste ...
Oh, i think u get me wrong. they already specified the number of cup of water, then we shred the raddish right, there are MORE water ... so we add the specified cups of water + the shredded radish and water into the mix. i guess that why. But i think u mean the raddish water+water shld be equal to 6cups right?

I think when it turn out like glue means too much water? As for my previous comment, got nothing to do with you. i was just recalling some previous attempts to "tweak" some recipes. :p Paiseh... "hai" you misunderstood.
Do you like pumpkin? We actually prefer the steamed pumpkin cake. :)
hahaha ya in SG no need so mafun!! ANYWHERE is carrot cake!! Now is desperation bopian, then got to find recipe here and there ... Will you try to do Yusheng? I craving for that liao! hahaha ~

Make from scratch.
For every 800g of shredded white radish, 500g of rice flour, 6 cups of water, 1T sugar, 1 t salt.
I used the method like in the steamed pumpkin cake (minus all the other ingredients).
I put in fridge overnight before frying it. :)

I will include the water as part of the 6c of water. :p I think up to you, dun add also can. Maybe drain it first.
Cause if too much liquid, the end result will be very soft and when you try to fry it, it becomes one sticky mess...

Oh is it? Maybe dun add in that case. :p Usually once I find a good recipe, I kind of stick to it religiously. Haha...
Certain recipes you can play with, but certain ones will turn out disastrous if you tweak it even a bit!

Wah Yusheng like a lot of work, need to shred everything. :p
